CzarHaus Cabins

We had a great time at Amy’s place in WV, our check in process was simple, and the cabin is as described/pictured. The hot tub being right by the river was nice, but could use a curtain or wall on the side facing the road, however there’s not very much traffic so you still have some sense of privacy. It’s remote, but it’s pretty close to the WV wildlife center, which the kids loved (the honey in the gift shop is excellent - all three varieties). The Hutte in Helvetia is a really cool restaurant with good food and is only about 5 minutes from the cabin, and the general store is right by the restaurant, the old buildings and history of the town (Helvetia) was cool to explore. If you’re not familiar with driving in the mountains just take it slow and you’ll be fine. The wildlife in area was cool, we saw deer every day, as well as various birds and other small animals, and the horse of course. We didn’t have any issues with bears, and we cooked mostly every day. Would stay there again!

Very relaxing! Kids enjoyed the river too. We even had a local dog keep us company most of the day. He was friendly and cute. Hot tub was a great bonus!

This was a great homebase during our visit to the area. Amy was responsive whenever we had questions, and the stream in the backyard was a bonus. The grill and kitchen were also better than what we are used to, compared to other AirBnBs.

This place was the perfect spot in the middle of our camping trip. Peaceful water sounds and natural beauty while having a comfortable place to cook, shower, and sleep. Our kids adored the place and were pleasantly surprised at the number of rooms, games, and other amenities. We all loved the hot tub area. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for something comfortable but out of the way.

A wonderful space for a quiet weekend away. The cabin exceeded expectations-- beautifully appointed, roomy for our family of 5, with a deck overlooking a bubbling creek -- the perfect spot for morning coffee. Loved the adjustable couches and hot tub with TV. Easy contactless check in. Thanks for sharing your home with us, it was just what we needed.

Wonderful stay. The instructions were expertly outlined and the place was amazing, which is largely attributable to the attention to detail of the host. would stay again and recommend to others.

We loved staying with Czar Haus!! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, clean with the most serene setting to enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation. We will be thinking about the snowy views from the front porch and the tranquil sounds of the creek for long after we left. The radiant heat took some getting used to but the gas fireplace kept us cozy. No cell service of course but the WiFi worked great. We would definitely recommend!

Property is beautiful and house was really clean. Location is very remote, no cell service for nearly 20 mins from the house in all directions, no gas station or shopping for almost 40 mins. Be prepared for those things, other than that was an amazing stay, and definitely would recommend!!

This was exactly what we needed and were looking for! The hot tub was great to relax with the creek right behind it to give such a peaceful feel! The no cell service was an added bonus. Amy was great with communicating and making us feel welcomed!

This airbnb was perfect. Our hosts were so communicative and the place pristine. Hosts also thought of every detail from the appliances and accessories in the kitchen to complementary power cords in all of the bedrooms plus well stocked paper towels, trash bags and bathroom supplies. Every bedroom has incredibly comfortable beds and great assortment of pillows. Again —hosts truly thought of everything! Highly recommend!
