Good to know

Brushy Fork is a single level ranch home built in 1950. High windows, in floor heat and other features made it one of the first passive heating/cooling homes in the area. Unfortunately the in floor heat has not survived the years. The front door enters between the living room and dining area. A hallway connects the bedrooms and bathrooms while the galley style kitchen is to the left past the dining area. A small office/workspace, family room (with a sleepable futon) & laundry with washer and dryer are on the other side of the kitchen.

This was a great place to stay. The house was stocked with things that aren't normal, like spices and other things in the kitchen. It was enough outside of town that you're away from a lot of traffic and business, yet close enough that if you needed anything it was just a few minutes to walmart. I would highly recommend this place.

Amys place was a great place to stay for an Alumni weekend in Buckhannon! It was a great deal and had plenty of space for 6 of us to be together and reminisce. Everything was clean and she was super responsive in the app. Would recommend!

The local movie theater is in walking distance but most shopping, restaurants, attractions, etc. will require a car. The Brushy Fork Event Center and National Guard Armory are close and the airport is a five minute drive.
